Create an account (Register yourself) on Alankit Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website. Click Here to register.
Book your appointment online at Alankit Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website. You can choose a convenient date and time to visit the Alankit ICAC for your application submission. Click Here to book your appointment online.
Ensure that you have your all other supporting documents, exactly as per the "Documents Checklist" section.
Visit the Alankit ICAC, as per your jurisdiction. The address and location of the ICAC will be clearly mentioned in the appontment letter.
Kindly ensure you reach the ICAC 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.
Submit your application and deposit your fees at Alankit ICAC. You can check the fee for this application under the "Fee Details" section.

Documents Checklist for Attestation of Affidavits / Self Declarations:

Self-attested photocopy of the first and last page of the Indian passport (personal information pages) of the applicant.
Self-attested photocopy of valid German Stay Permit (Aufenthaltstitel)/Visa of the applicant.
Self-attested City Registration Certificate (Meldebescheinigung) of your current German address is mandatory for all types of document processing.
Copy of the requisite Affidavits, Declarations, Annexures, Authorization letter etc. to be attested.
Proof of payment of the applicable fee (if made through bank transfer).

Note:

Kindly note the applicant must visit to ICAC for submission of the application and sign the requisite Affidavits, Declarations, Annexures, Authorization letter etc. in front of the ICAC counter staff. Applications through Post will not be accepted for this service.
Names should be entered in full (as in Passports) in the requisite Affidavits, Declarations, Annexures, Authorization letter etc..
There should be enough blank space (approx. 10-15 cm) under the applicant's signature on the document for placing the Embassy/Consulate's attestation stamps/signatures.
Applicant's may bring their requisite Affidavits, Declarations, Annexures, Authorization letter etc. printed either on normal A4 papers or on Stamp Papers, as desired.
In case of joint requisite Affidavits, Declarations, Annexures, Authorization letter etc., both executants should visit the ICAC to sign the requisite Affidavits, Declarations, Annexures, Authorization letter etc..
Applicants must submit two (02) copies of each required affidavit:
-1 copy must be attested
-1 copy will be retained for office use

Note: If fingerprint or facial biometrics, or both, are not required for the selected service, the corresponding biometric charges for these services will be deducted from the total fees payable by the applicant.

To ensure safe and timely return of documents, courier service is the standard mode of delivery for all applications submitted to Alankit ICAC’s.

Courier Charges

€26 – Within Province (with Insurance & Tracking)
€33 – Outside Province (with Insurance & Tracking)

All applications, especially postal applications are processed with return courier service to avoid delays and ensure secure delivery.

Bank Transfer Charges

An additional €0.50 applies for payments made via bank transfer, to cover transaction fees.

What is the procedure for attestation of Power of Attorney?
- For Indian Nationals:
  - Please prepare the PoA as per your requirement.
  - Book your appointment online on our website and visit Alankit ICAC (as per your correct jurisdiction) on the appointed date and time. Please carry your Indian passport in original, German Visa or Ausweis / Residence permit (in original), Aadhar Card (in original) and a copy of the PoA.
  - Submit your application and deposit the fee. You can pay in cash, or through your debit / credit card. Refer to the "Fees Details" section to know the exact fees you have to pay.
  - The PoA has to be signed by the applicant in front of the Alankit submission officer.
  - PoA is then deposited for registration and processing, and is usually returned within two working days.
- For Foreign Nationals:
  - Please get the document notarized and attested by the District Court (Landsgericht) within your correct jurisdiction. Refer to "Jurisdiction" section to know your exact jurisdiction.
