A No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Naming of a New Born Child is issued to confirm that there is no objection from the concerned authority regarding the proposed name of the child. This certificate is generally required for official or administrative purposes, particularly when registering the child’s name with local or foreign authorities, subject to verification by the concerned consular office.

For applicants in Germany, Alankit Global assists parents and guardians by supporting the preparation and organization of applications for issuance of a No Objection Certificate for naming of a newborn child. Follow the below steps in order to apply

  2. Book your appointment online at Alankit Global Service Centre website. You can choose a convenient date and time to visit the Alankit Global Service Centre for your application submission. Click Here to book your appointment online.  
  3. Ensure that you have your all other supporting documents, exactly as per the "Documents Checklist" section. 
  4. Visit the Alankit Global Service Centre, as per your jurisdiction. The address and location of the centre will be clearly mentioned in the appontment letter. 
  5. Kindly ensure you reach the centre 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. 
  6. Submit your application and deposit your fees at Alankit Global Service Centre. You can check the fee for this application under the "Fee Details" section. 
  7. Your application submission process is now complete! You can avail our Courier service to get your attested document(s) delivered to your doorstep!

For Postal Applications

Documents Checklist for No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Naming of New Born Child:

  • Click Here to fill the online form to generate the PDF of the Request Form / Request Letter. Please note a printout of the PDF is required along with other documents in the checklist.
  • A letter from the parents stating the reason for the NOC along with mentioning the desired Given name and Surname,date of birth and place of birth.
  • Self-attested photocop(ies) of the first and last page of the Indian passport(s) of the parent(s) (personal information pages). If one parent holding the nationality other than Indian, a self-attested photocopy of his/her passport is also required.
  • Self-attested photocopy of valid German Stay Permit (Aufenthaltstitel/Visa/Personal Ausweis) of both parents.
  • Self-attested City Registration Certificate (Meldebescheinigung) of your current German address is mandatory for all types of document processing.
  • Proof of payment of the applicable fee (if made through bank transfer).
  • The applicant must bring one passport-size photo with them, and all documents must be self-attested.

Note: The No Objection Certificate (NOC) for a newborn child can only be issued by the Indian Embassy/Consulate after the child is born. It cannot be issued prior to the birth of the baby.

Courier Charges

  • €26 – Within Province (with Insurance & Tracking)
  • €33 – Outside Province (with Insurance & Tracking)

All applications, especially postal applications are processed with return courier service to avoid delays and ensure secure delivery.

Bank Transfer Charges

An additional €0.50 applies for payments made via bank transfer, to cover transaction fees.
