General Information on OCI
Holders of a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card are required to apply for an OCI card as PIO cards are no longer valid. This service enables eligible applicants to transition from a PIO card to an OCI card, subject to verification and approval by the concerned consular authority.
For applicants in Germany, Alankit Global provides support by assisting with the preparation and organization of applications for OCI registration in lieu of a PIO card. Our assistance is limited to application facilitation only. We do not participate in consular decision-making or influence application outcomes. The assessment and issuance of the OCI card remain solely under the authority of the concerned consular office.
As part of the preparation process, applicants may avail assistance for:
- Reviewing and arranging documents to ensure completeness
- Guidance in completing and submitting the online OCI application
- Printing and photocopying support
- Photograph services in accordance with prescribed specifications
- Access to internet kiosk facilities
- Secure handling, collection, and dispatch of documents
These services are intended to help applicants in Germany complete the transition from a PIO card to an OCI card smoothly, reduce documentation errors, and ensure that submissions are properly structured prior to consular processing.
